Kanto, tuluat tiyatrosunda kadın bir sanatçı tarafından söylenen şarkı ve bu şarkı eşliğinde yapılan dans. Kanto sözcüğü Türkçeye İtalyanca canto kantat (şarkı) sözcüğünden geçmiştir.
Oldukça hareketli ve coşturucu bir şarkı ve dans türü olan kantonun en tanınmış siması Huysuz Virjin lakaplı Seyfi Dursunoğlu ve Nurhan Damcıoğlu'dur.
